Volvoxlabs provided end-to-end content and interactive design for the Cadillac Electriq Theater, an immersive brand experience presented across multiple U.S. locations in 2022 and 2023. Designed to tell the story of Cadillac’s legacy—from its origins and evolution to the launch of its first all-electric consumer vehicle—the experience combined cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge technology. As the creative studio behind the project, Volvoxlabs employed a diverse range of techniques to bring the narrative to life, culminating in a 180-degree projection-mapped theater that vividly captured Cadillac’s vision of innovation, heritage, and electric future.

Content Design

Designing content that aligns with Cadillac’s branding guidelines was both a creative challenge and an exciting opportunity for the team.

The immersive experience extended beyond the theater’s interior. Each exterior wall of the structure was outfitted with high-resolution LED panels, which we strategically used to build anticipation for the experience inside. These dynamic visuals served as a visual teaser—drawing in passersby and amplifying the presence of the Electriq Theater from a distance.
